FAQ
How is your soap made?
We craft our soap using the traditional cold process method, where rich oils and butters meet sodium hydroxide (lye) to create a magical reaction called saponification, turning these luxurious ingredients into soap! While the transformation happens quickly (making the soap technically safe to use within 24-48 hours), we let our bars cure for 4-6 weeks. This slower process ensures a harder, longer lasting bar that gives you the best experience possible. Don't worry, there is no lye present in the final soap bar because of the curing process.
How long does one bar last?
That depends on how you use and store it! Proper storage is key, using a draining soap dish keeps your bar dry between uses, making it last even longer. (Psst... we have bamboo soap dishes available on our site!)
Full-body use? Expect 3-4 weeks of lather love.
Face or hands only? Your bar could last several months!
Got a tiny soap nub left? Pop it in a soap saver bag and use it like a loofa...zero waste and you get to use every ounce. (Yes, we sell those too!)
Can I use your soap on my face?
Absolutely! Almost all of our bars are face friendly, but you know your skin best. If you have very sensitive skin, we recommend our fragrance free options like Coconut Oat or Pumpkin & Turmeric. Always check the ingredients and do a patch test before full use. Our Pistachio Caramel Latte bar may not be ideal for facial use due to the exfoliating coffee beans, which could be too intense for your beautiful face!
Fun fact: Unlike commercial soaps that remove glycerin to sell to you separately, natural & handmade soap retain this natural humectant, keeping your skin hydrated and happy! This is one of the few reasons why natural soap will change your life!
Where do you make your soap?
All of our soaps are handmade, packaged, and shipped with love from Port Richey, Florida!
Why does it take a while to restock?
We totally get it, you love your favorite bars, and waiting can be tough! Since we’re a small business, we craft our soaps in small batches to ensure quality in every single bar. Plus, with our 4-6 week curing time, it takes a little patience before they’re ready to go.
The good news? As we grow, we’ll be making slightly bigger batches (still small, but enough to keep up with demand) so you won’t have to wait too long for your faves. TBH the wait is worth it!
